Hi Guys,
It occurs to me to ask what car(s) you guys would buy if you won £10 Million on national lottery?!
Steve ('cos that what I'm planing to do!)

Good question Steve! No tax to pay so the car budget is £5m, but the first job is to buy a house with plenty of garage space. There's a classic car dealer in the area who has several barns for all the cars , AND a pukka outdoor kart circuit alongside his house. That'd do nicely.

There are those who would use it to be one special car. Not me. F50, 288GTO and a 550 barchetta for starters, then an Ultima Can Am and a flatnose would round out the 'road collection'. Would probably use the rest to run an ex-F3000 or F1 car in the EuroBoss series. Nice

Exactly! Get the country pîle, build the kart track to a scale approximation of the nordschleif, then check the change to see if i can stretch to a mclaren F1 and keep running the bb!

Kev you're a sly one, you just won't give away what the next one is will you?? Those are the three choices we've been suspecting, but which one is it??? Please tell us, please!

First build a larger garage wing.

Second buy house in Nurburg with quadruple garage.

Keep the current Porsche.

Add:
S600 merc, the new one with two superchargers 500BHP!!
550 Barchetta, Red, manual, non factory alloys.
ML55 AMG fourwheel drive.
1988 Aston Martin Vantage Volante, manual Green or Blue.
A couple of lightweight stripped out porkers for playing on the Ring.

Well, at a recent stag do, we discovered that Bones is a dab hand with a shotgun. You drive a fast car. Perhaps 1 oe 2 of the BiB on here could be bought off with the right knid of persuasion (use of track)...

Bank job, perhaps?

I have been told that Chris Rea (local boy) tried to buy a garage in a lovely country location with the house and land next door. However, people found out who was interested and kept putting the price up. He walked away and the land the garage was on is now being made into two houses. He also has an eye for Ultima's as well especially as they can leave his M3 behind.

I would buy an old airfield and go for a spin. It would have to have a 2 mile runway to get a decent speed from the car!!

I've spent a lot of idle thought time on this. I'd have an extensive collection:

F355GTB
250GT SWB
288GTO
Aston DB7 Vantage Volante
TVR Tuscan S
Caterham 400
Integrale EVO
E30 M3 Evo II
911 Carrera 2.7 RS
The new Bentley coupe
Range Rover
E-type
205GTi 1.9
Muira SV
87 Aston V8 Vantage
Elise
Mini Cooper S (original)
Mini Cooper S (Current)
Shelby Mustang GT500
Ducatti 998 SP
Sure there's more but I can't think right now... by my reckoning thats only £1.5m so far. Stuff it, I'll have an F40 to go with the GTO

Guy- you are the reason why the Ultima is on my dream list. Two images from the last several months have burned into my memory:

The first is of your car absolutely HONKING up that slip road onto the A1M. The sight & sound of it was overpowering. It was just as well I was sitting down because I'm fairly sure that I'd otherwise have been on my knees.

The second one is of Daz in his turbo at Virginia Water in September. I was coming down towards the roundabout in Egham and that bastard who'd nicked Daz's car was coming up the hill in the opposite direction. I glanced across for no more than 0.5sec but in that time, the attitude of the Porka said it all; back end down, afterburners lit and rocketing up that hill.

You'd make exceptional salesmen

There could only be one car for me: A road legal 1970 Porsche 917L - trouble is it would probably cost the whole £10M

Kev

As one of the PHers who is usually giving out passenger rides as opposed to taking them (like me, and that bloke who stole my car at VW).) You have been promoted (together with Domster) to top of the list for a demo at the next meet we both attend.

cheers

DAZ

(Same offer go's to Guy as well, another PHer normally giving passenger rides rather than experiencing other vehicles)

LUIGI!!!!
Great to see you here my friend.
It hasn't got there? - FK - I'm actually going to kill myself - Those idiots..... It's not the first time this has happened - my sincerest apologies - if it doesn't reach you on Monday, I'll carry a box and fly to Lugano MYSELF.
In fact Luigi - I'm out of the office right now - can you email me your cell phone number so that I can give you a call today.

BTW - Guys - Luigi is a total nutter and probably the most dedicated hardcore Tifosi I've ever had the chance to speak to. Kev - you'll be pleased to hear he's also rapidly going to be joining our Tubi crew. (except he's not a wimp like you and he running test pipes too!!!!)

I'd be delighted to meet you sometime Luigi. I take it you live in a remote part of Italy

Manu- d'you ever give up? Good God man my neighbours are already suffering sense of humour failure! Mind you, good excuse to move to a house with a few more garages. Mmmm
