aggressive adverts for used cars

I'm on the lookout for a couple of used cars and reading through some of the adverts you can't help feeling like the guy doesn't want you to come and buy his one such is the nature of the text.
This one for instance, it's not especially aggressive but it just comes across as if you'd be a massive inconvenience to the guy if you were to come and buy his car. He doesn't trust you and even after you've paid for it you have to go by his rules.

It depends what you mean by fine, I understand where he's coming from, I wouldn't do any of those things, but at the same time there's no way I'd try to buy his car either. Normal people write normal adverts and then filter the replies, ignoring those that read like they may be problematic.

But what right does he have to insist you tax and insure it "in your own name" bla bla bla... If you buy the car by paying him the asking price why shouldn't you be allowed to feed it into a car crusher on the street outside his house... if that's what you want to do? ingenieur said:

None.But it sure makes it harder to back out of the deal when the engine light comes on after 90 seconds and the gearbox has roughly 2.5 gears available.
Applies to both buyers and sellers - avoid bellends.
I find some of them pretty funny. Usually when you get towards the cheaper end of things people become outright angry.

h I do find adverts like this a little odd, just write the truth and be polite.
As someone has already said, if someone comes across as a bit of a bell end, then I prefer not to deal with them and carry on looking. Can't say it helps them sell their product quicker, just puts off genuine buyers, but if it makes them feel better then they can crack on...

The whole thing just reads as if he's been messed around.
The bit about having "insurance and tax in your own named" is probably because he's paranoid about still being on the hook if somebody bins it or gets a ticket without insurance / tax, and "in your own name" to stop yeahbluds saying "yeah its on my cuzins trade policy bruv"
