I read between the lines that you ar still experiencing difficulties in getting used to the local attitude towards working? ("lazy bastards" I imagine the work is not going according to tour wishes? Good luck!

I'm thinking of coming to Blackpool aan den Rijn, having a shmoke around Holland for a few days then going down to Spa to race 24/25 Sep.

"Hook of Holland" (what is this called in Dutch??) looks like the best ferry for Spa and Blackpool aan den Rijn.

The Hook of Holland to Alphen aan den Rijn (true place name) is only 45 mins and a very easy drive. I have done it many times in my TVR and can recommend the HSS crossing, only 4 hours.

All I can say is that living here in Blackpool aan den Rijn is the No.1 place in the Netherlands for a TVR owner. I can think of at least 6 TVR owners in my street alone! Considering how few TVRs are in the Netherlands, that is an amazing number in one place, let alone in one street. Also, the event on the 17th September is held in the same street.

What do you mean with "the No.1 place in the Netherlands for a TVR owner"???? Do you think there is another place ON THE WORLD that is a better place for a TVR owner? If so please share it with us, because than we all move there.

Boss Cerbera, hope you can make it. We can arrange Hotel for you, what car would you come with? We could do with an extra Cerbera.

The work is coming along nicely. Fortunately we have a lot of Dutch and English guys working on the villa's, that helps.

Haven't had a chance to use the Griff for a couple of weeks now, only just washed it after it's "clean sweep" at Zolder.
Shame I can't come, would have loved to sprint against the Boss Cerbera (of course I would lose, but still)

For all our UK friends: Hoek van Holland is just about 20 mins from Rotterdam. The BadR-event is between Leiden and Amsterdam. Rotterdam is 80 kms from Amsterdam. Yup, that's how small The Netherlands are . . .

About 600 kms, so just a 4 hour drive . . .
