F1 Liberty - commercial over history or prestige

It seems some of our favourite races (ok.. maybe not france!!) are looking like they are getting stitched up on race contract renewals in favour of Glamour locations and st circuits!
At risk.... Spa, France, Monaco, probably UK at some point as it's always threatened.
Should the history of F1 be wiped out in favour of concrete monolith circuits with catch fencing built on brown-field locations?????
Do we want to lose SPA in favour of Vegas, Monoco in favour of Florida, France in favour of Saudi??
The Yanks may have a hand on the entertainment side, but it's becoming out of reach to the normal punter again (Florida tickets!!!!) and the seem to totally disregard the past.
I would much prefer a big open circuit than a closed in concrete & catch fenced lined monstrosity!!

So long as the historic circuits remain popular, they remain on the calendar - because they're worth a fortune in TV rights monies even if they can't afford to pay as much as some of the newer locations. The only historic circuits in danger are those that people are bored of and no longer tune in to watch - and if that's the case then... what is there to say? Fair enough, time is up.
The circuits that are 'always in trouble' come renewal time are posturing, it's part of their negotiating stance. The reason they all pretend they'll go bust without a better deal is because they know how valuable they still are to the sport and are playing on that. Monaco for instance have lots to negotiate right now, so they're making lots of noise about it - as are Liberty. But at the end of the day, it's the most viewed established date on the calendar so it's really not in danger at all.
Accept the logic and stark business realities of a commercial sport. All things change over time, sometimes not the way you desire them to change, but one way or another typically in the way that the (often silent) majority do desire.

This isn't a new 'Liberty' thing, Bernie played these games for years. Arguably Liberty have a slightly stronger hand to play than Bernie ever did due to F1's current popularity boom but that's debatable and It's not like Liberty had nothing to do with the boom.

And a year off so everybody can have a good think about what they've done and what they really want wouldn't be a surprise.To me.... Formula E covers the downtown street thing. The FE circuits are all the same, ugly, dominated by concrete walls and high fences. The backdrop might be great, but the circuit is grim.
F1 is best on large open circuits, not poorly designed street circuits. F1 should be on circuits like Silverstone, Nurburgring, Imola, Muggelo, Barcelona, Road America, COTA etc etc. Not Saudi, Miami. Vegas and all the new pop-up circuits created in some brown-field location.
The FIA should ensure that these circuits do not become the dominant style over the traditional circuit.
