Offer what it is worth to you. If the seller says yes and bites your hand off you know you should have gone lower

The market is not surprisingly showing signs of faltering and the last thing you want is is stock bought at top prices.

With my last two BMW buys from a main dealer, I've blindly accepted the ridiculous finance rates after getting a decent 'incentive' for doing so (ie a good wedge off the screen price). It wasn't a finance incentive per se as these were pre reg so not new but they obviously have wiggle room for mugs taking out £30k / £40k plus finance deals at 12.9% .. which of course I paid straight off. It might be worth a punt seeing what reduction they could do with finance - then pay off. That said with todays market I'm not sure what their priority is as finance was always king.
All depends on what the car owes the dealer ,how long in stock , how much you want it , price compared to any others , how good you are at negotiation etc but all things being equal the £65k mentioned earlier sounds a good start to me and at least won’t just merit a laugh.

If you absolutely love it and have to have it right now, fair enough, but these were discounted like crazy with ludicrous finance deals not so long ago.
They are expensive but the question is how much of it is inflated and big cars depreciate a lot, but I guess this will do so more than a m5 or a x5.
