Went out with the vague intention of finding zig zag hill and I actually stumbled right across it. It is in a little village on the dorset side of shaftsbury.

Wow anything anyone has said to me about this hill is true.

There is 5-6 of the tightest hairpins, most of them full lock with 10% incline and a short straight between them. So good I did it 8 times. I got 2 uninterupted runs out of that. 2nd gear all the way but to be really quick you may have to use 1st.

Came up behing about 6 guys on some really big sports bikes, crikey, they had to work really hard to get those bikes up that hill.

Fantastic hill, stuff Wiscombe park this was incredible!

Had a FANTASTIC drive there. I actually saw an MX5 being driven fast. I had herd rumours that it was possible but had never seen it happen. If you are reading this, my hat off to you.

I think we have found the new BoLOC destination!

So you have found zig zag..... which leads you up to Windy Hill

Have had many fun and games there in various cars.

Try it downhill in winter when icy....very dicey

Every time I went down the hill I got stuck behind something. The LWB shogun was taking 2 trys to get round 2-3 of the bends. The worst was a scenic. I did not know a car could travel that slow. It cant have had a speedo, it was replaced with a calendar! Without a doubt walking would have doubled thier speed.

What a great hill, I am still buzzing!

Its called windy hill? Superb! What great roads!

The B road from Shafts to Gill is a great short cut and scenic fun run.
The hill at the top of zig zag is called Win Hill and very windy.
So code being 'going for a picnic on Windy Hill' !!!!!
Always a joke watching the cp drivers struggle down.
Makes you feel like saying 'let me show you how to drive it' but that would spoil the laughter of watching them making a dogs bx of it

I've lived in Shaftesbury pretty much all my life and never heard it called that. Are you sure you are not getting confused with Win Green which is at the top of ZigZag?. Whatever its called it pretty fun driving up!.
