Advice wanted for French road trip!
Discussion
Planning on taking my s3 over on the ferry to france. I'm concerned that with the low exhaust, it may not get on to the ferry. Will it get on OK? Any advice about this and driving in France would be gratefully received. Cheers, Russ

you should be ok on the ferry, many S's go over to Le Mans every year
some ferrys put i little ramp before the man ramp to help, or if going on eurotunnel they put you on the bottom deck.
Take a few spares throtle cable,HT lead(longest one should be ok) fuses, bit of wire to overide the otter if it sticks, allways carry some mixed coolant aswell just in case, light bulbs small tool kit,Flexible coolant hose and jubilee kits....could go on but you wont be taking any clothes
Onceoverthere it can be abit daunting at first but youshould soon get in the swing of it, just be awar on some roundabouts(no rule why) but you may have to give way to the cars comingonto tehroundabout when you ar allready on it
Enjoy there are some great roads over there
