Audi A4 Avant High Mileage

Hi guys first time post here.

Looking at a 2018 A4 Avant that has done 133,000 miles. Full service history, appears to be a former company car and has an excellent spec. It's listed at just under £16k

Is the mileage to high to make it worth going for? Particular with future costs and potential value in 3-4yrs. I average 12000 miles a year typically. I've currently got an M240i and never owned an Audi so any info would be great.

Impossible to say really, chances are if its been serviced on time and generally looks and feels ok then it probably is.
Could be hard mileage though over the 4 years so it's a bit of a lottery.

Auto or manual?

Auto's need the box serviced every 38k and it's often overlooked

As much as I like Audi's I just couldn't spend that sort of money on one at that price and mileage.

It's the wear and tear on interior alone that puts us off.

It's an automatic, wasn't aware of that so will be something il keep in mind going forward 👍🏻

It's not a high mileage for that car, they can do double that. Which engine is it?

You have to be aware that with that mileage a suspension refresh won't be far away, which engine is it?

I had a 2017 a4 avant s line from new for 2 years and frankly couldn’t wait to get rid of it by the end. We found the seats very uncomfortable and the drive fairly uninspiring and wallowy.

Personally for your money I would get a 3 series. My wife has a 2018 model now and its a better vehicle in our view. You could also get one with much lower mileage for similar money

A4 is not exactly the car it used to be I agree, OP obviously likes it.

Boot too small as well for an estate.

wow, wbac have offered me 16k for my 17 reg 2.0 tfsi avant with 14k miles on it
