This looks good, JYS driving his 1969 title winning Matra MS-80 02, a Red Bull RB8 doing a demonstration run and a display featuring the Tyrrell 003 and Tyrrell 006 being the main highlights I guess.

Profits to Race Against Dementia.

If it is a success it might become a Scottish verson of the Festival of Speed.

Yes looking forward to this one, our motor club is organising a run through the borders up there and I’ll be displaying all weekend as well.

What's that famous coastal road called in Scotland? I forget the name but a few years ago a friend who works on Grand Tour negotiated it's closure for a day of filming. The local authorities at the time were also looking at a proposal to hold a 2 day festival of speed type thing nearby with the road to be closed to send the classic and rare cars down, run time trials etc.

It struck me as a nice idea to head up to scotland for such an event.

Applecross to Torridon? Just above Skye/Mallaig, on the West coast?
