Fuse box woes!
Discussion

Hi everyone.
Welcome to my 2005 mk2 tuscan fuse box/relay box.
It seems that this bears no resemblence to any of the fuse board diagrams I’ve seen for the Tusc.
The issue I have, is that my car went for paint, had a bit of a relay failure and the guy tried his best but ended up changing relays all over the place and I now can’t work out what’s what, or what should be where…. And it might even be that the wrong relay is in there. Everything works - except the fan for the heating /aircon system.
Does anyone have a mark 2 fuse box layout? I mean I guess it could be the mk3 layout too - I’m not sure - I get the feeling my car is a bit of a Frankenstein’s monster from the parts bin!
Any clues appreciated!
Thanks
Hmmmmm
So the fuse is OK.
The panel lights up as if it’s been turned on.
So now I’m thinking maybe a connector has been dislodged where the paint guy has been working on the car 🤔
Will have to whip the bonnet up tomorrow and investigate further. If only I knew where the far actually was 🙄 (I’ll find it I’m sure).
Otherwise it’s off to see woody and 101’s…again 🙄😂

OP, Heater ECU is tucked up under the oddments tray - passenger side - usually fixed on by velcro.
They are a known weakness. The Black/Earth wires and male/female pins on the ECU overheat,.because wire and pins marginally too small for current.
The heater fan is in the void between inner and outer wings front passenger side. Access via battery compartment. Blower and motor often respond to a good squirt of WD-40. They see a fair bit of dampness, so bearings and electrics suffer .
