RIP Andy Fletcher - fletch from Depeche Mode. Stupidly early age of 60. Sad times.

Saw them at the London Stadium a few years back brilliant. Made me think of uni and early career days. My OH had never really heard of them, but was buzzing about the concert.

RIP Fletch.

(Getting to that age where all sorts of figures from my youth are dying. How did that happen?!).

Sad news, but what did he actually do musically? I never knew and I am a massive DM fan!

"Martin's the songwriter, Alan's the good musician, Dave's the vocalist, and I bum around," he said in the tour documentary, 101.

When I last saw them at the 02 for the Delta Machine tour he seemed to spend quite a lot of the time watching the big screens.

It was a big shock, I love DM but also wondered the same thing, in the last few tours I saw he didn't seem too engaged.

As I understand it he wrote the music and gave equal credit to all band members. Perhaps you should wait and see how much new stuff is written now.

Great band, I love the 101 live album from the Pasadena rose bowl concert.

Why not ? my brother in law died of natural causes last year at 52, plenty of others. We aren’t guaranteed any number of years.

And why not?

You are obviously insinuating something but for the life of me I don’t know why.

Just like I’ve no idea why you sign off all your posts.

RIP Andy. Another from my past gone too soon.

The vast majority of people that die at any age, die from natural causes.
