Will be travelling Glasgow to Inverness soon, and have a bit of spare time to add an hour to the journey - any decent detours on quiet roads that I can make? From a quick look on the map, apart from a couple of roads parallel to the A9 or going up through somewhere like Ferness there ain't a whole load of roads up that way...

I would do nothing more exciting than stop off at the house of Bruar for a nice lunch if you only have an hour.
The Mill caf in Blair Atholl is preferable to the House of Grue but then so is scraped up road kill.Gramrugby said:

Utter bks. I've been going there ever since it opened and can highly recommend it. Top quality produce and excellent staff.Gassing Station | Scotland | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
