Anyone got any idea on cars under £15,000 ?
Ideally under 45,000 miles
Ideally a hatchback, or golf/focus size at the most, so nothing huge.
Nothing too expensive to insure
Must be fun to drive, and practical for rural and urban roads
Petrol/Manual/5 Door
Fairly nippy, but not an out and out sports car.
Nice interior
Decent on the motorway, so not tinny.

I have seen the Polo Blue GT, but heard they are no fun to drive and quite mondane.
Good things however are Active Cylinder Technology, and really low tax per year ( £30 )

I'd likely be buying from Cazoo/Cinch etc or somewhere like that, not privately purchased off Autotrader

Thanks !

Suzuki Swift Sport? £15k would get you into something only a couple of years old.

Don't dismiss the obvious options though. You wouldn't go far wrong with a Focus, particularly if you get something with the 1.5 EcoBoost. It is a decent drive without being a "hot hatch" like the ST and all the insurance premium (and attention from undesirables) they attract.

Focus/Fiesta's look decent too. Providing it's 2017 or newer, as the Fiesta is such a common car I'd want something a bit less run of the mill.
I do like the look of the newer Fiesta.

I've also updated my original post, I won't be looking to buy off Autotrader

Mazda 3.. you could get a nice 2018-2019 for that money.

Good driver comfort and position.

Not the quietest on motorways but a very nice drivers car overall, try a test drive.

Most are software limited to 120bhp stock.. can be unlocked to 165bhp without much difficulty.

Not exactly lots of fun... but you can get a Volvo V40 in a good a spec with the T3 engine for £15k and under quite easily.

I have a 2015 65 320i m sport with plus package ( same as shadow edition) with 44k in excellent condition, spec'd and owned by me from brand new. Was going to advertise at 14.5k. I had it remapped around 4 years ago to 280hp so it's no slouch either

Might be interested in this, email over details and I’ll have a look, cheers

Mazda 3 is looking the most likely.

I want a car that's fairly quick as I enjoy driving, but reliable for a daily driver to work etc

Budget now is £15,000 max
