Anyone tracked these over the last few years? Specifically the 991.1 Turbo S (I see it as my next car , currently with a 997.2S)

~90k£ is what I see it as, which seems pretty chunky for its age - I iamgine can get some real other nice alternatives for even a bit less (mclaren e.t.c), but I guess the Porsche will hold its value

I know the used car market has gone up a lot given I was a buyer for my 997

What are peoples thoughts on £90k for a 991.1 Turbo S?

991 unbeatable value for money in used market even at these inflated prices. Still half price compared to a 992 turbo s so a no brainer. Stick GT3 size wheels and tyres on with lowering springs really sharpens their stance. The 991 turbo s makes you feel like a super hero its so easy to drive fast. 997 horse and cart by comparison. Had a 997.2 C4S too. Wouldn't swap the 991 turbo s back for it. I think they look fantastic this one has a set of wheels and lowering springs wink

I still can’t believe the money being asked for the 992 TTS. 21 just in the OPC network. Crazy prices.

Hopefully anyone paying £220-240K for an 18 month old Turbo S is suitably loaded to deal with the likely monstrous depreciation they could see in the next 2 years. It would not surprise me if these cars at 4 years old & away from the current buoyant market would be fetching £140-£160K. Oooch.

A friend sold his after 6 months. Couldn't get on with it....basically, way too fast.

Made £25k profit.

This is the issue with monsters like the Turbo S. I drove a 991 turbo not long ago; it was quite incredible, but ultimately a slightly frustrating exercise in restraint. Being able to push a car is a major element of enjoying a second car to me, so ultimately it’s incredible abilities would actually detract from ownership. I do see the appeal, though.

That said, I do think that starting around 80k, 991 TS cars are stonking value for what you’re getting.
