Mazda 6 2.2 sports nav auto brake juder
Discussion
After replacing the original Mazda front discs and pads in local garage, a judder developed again after about 10 months and approx 6k miles. They replaced under warranty. Again the same has happened after approx 5k miles. Mazda front disc and pads are £320, don't fancy paying that!
Anyone had similar issues?
thinking I replace with higher quality discs and pads - any suggestions? Do I go perforated to help with heat dispersion?
Thanks in advance

See if they'll warranty them again.
How do you usually drive, particularly aggressively? If so, I'd take the replacements and swap for some higher performance pads that are less likely to leave deposits.
Drilled discs aren't particularly effective at anything except looking good; There's a tendancy to crack, no real improvement in thermal dissipation etc.
Some grooved performance pads might be worth considering; They won't crack, and the grooves serve some purpose in skimming the surface of the pads.

Might be worth asking the garage to check the calipers for sticking pistons and/or slides given this has happened pretty quickly. Calipers that need servicing can ruin good discs pretty quickly.
With regard to parts, what brand was used, and who supplied them? For brakes, I'd only ever go with a decent brand (Ferodo, Brembo, Pagid etc) and from a trusted supplier. A lot of stuff sold on places like eBay is fake.
Unless you're doing track days or anything else that requires repeated hard stops from high speed, the standard brakes should be more than up to the job if good quality parts are used, and the calipers are in good condition.

Hi thanks for the advice and views. I've gone with some Brembo discs and pads and interestingly the mechanic who'll fit them mentioned potential issues with the previous installation and the overlay issue. Will let you know if the garage highlights any issues with the hubs when they do the installation Wednesday.
So fingers crossed it will be sorted, thanks again
