NA dash top tidy

I'm coming to the end of a mild resto on a 1991 Eunos and am looking at tidying the dash top as it's all scratched up.
Is it better to just keep an eye out for a spare dash or has anyone had any success with painting or covering in vinyl?
Car has the tan interior so want to keep as oem as possible.

Have you tried any of the vinyl and or trim revivers for which there are many available?

Scratched too much for any reviver product.
