This is so not a Pistonheads question, but would like an answer if possible.
Out driving the runaround Aygo last week and noticed that the change up/down indicator went from -

Advising change down
Off
Advising change up

With no change of speed/throttle position etc, but car did go from uphill to level to downhill.

Is there some sort of load or angle sensor in the car?
Any information appreciated.

If the car went from up hill to down hill with no change in speed then there must have been a change in throttle position.
I suspect it would have been this different throttle position which caused the gear indicator to change.
