Hi all, I'm away for a few days so thought I'd get the thread up early.
Round 5 and we’re in Miami. A new experience for everyone, it’s a fast street circuit with a predicted average speed of nearly 140mph, so quick enough. Some commentators think it will be a Red Bull circuit as it’s fast, so perhaps another Max win? There are no DRS zones shown on the circuit map yet, don’t know why.
Ricciardo always seems to go well in the USA, and he badly needs a good race (again). Surely Sainz must be due some good luck, and Hamilton will be keen to show he’s still Number 1 at Mercedes.
Virtual lap: https://youtu.be/5ZQrprQNS-c
Here’s to another great race.
Date(s): Friday 6 May to Sunday 8 May 2022.
UK Broadcast Timings (and local time)
All sessions are live on Sky F1. Qualifying and the race are shown as highlights on Channel 4.
Live timing for all sessions available here:

Lap times, PU component use, technical reports and Stewards' decisions for the weekend will appear here:

Weather forecast:
https://weather.com/en-GB/weather/today/l/25.78,-8...

I think Ferrari will go well here. Looking forward to it although a shame that it's been basically impossible to get grandstand tickets for a reasonable price.
Looking forward to the challenge of a new circuit, but it does look rather boring. What was the issue with the tickets? Not enough grandstands, or they all got bought up by the Miami Mafia for resale?

Looks like there's two decent enough straights for overtaking, one with a left right after it, so some potential front wing loss there, and another with a double left right, presumably the one where you make the pass stick.
Looks like a tricky uphill off camber chicane with bouncy kerbs on the inside to unsettle the cars as well.
They'll have to be careful not to overegg the DRS in my opinion.
Start times - I'm thinking can I stay awake if its a bit of a procession.......

Really hope they get the DRS right, wonder if they haven’t put he jones on the map yet because they want to see the cars run in FP1 first?Looks like a tricky uphill off camber chicane with bouncy kerbs on the inside to unsettle the cars as well.

Love the timings for this one, hopefully no toddler interruptions, coffee needed though for the race!
