Is it me or have they changed the timetable in the last 24 hours? Seems like there is less going on now and an earlier finish?

Sunday unchanged from earlier in the week, the GT40 race has vanished from Saturday though, not enough entries I'm guessing?

It's a few years since I last went to this meeting, but the 3 hour race then featured the most bizarre commentary I've heard, 2 hours 55mins of warbling on followed by 'right, we're off for a break, see you for the end of the race', which they totally missed

Was looking forward to it, but the Saturday stuff other than Group C is simply not worth the travel and money, when there is far more on Brands for GTWC

Ah that’s it the GT40s have gone, well that was going to be a small grid anyway so no real loss. They would be better with a qualifying day and a race day, so everyone gets to see all the cars on track at least once. It does show the difference between MRL and Masters Historic meetings though.

Fortunately there is enough on the Saturday to keep me entertained, the paddock won’t be too busy and it’s something to do whilst the British Hillclimb Championship is in NI!!

Yes, apparently 5 entries wasn't enough.

Have they stuck them in another race?

Can't see them listed https://www.doningtonhistoric.com/the-races and nothing looks suitable, which is a shame.
I got a driving experience and one was listed. My booking was refused as I'm too tall. I managed to sit in it anyway and was looking above the windscreen frame with the door open....

We were wondering the same thing as the schedule on the Saturday was clearly different to what we'd seen on the website.

Still a good weekend though. The open paddock was brilliant, and standing next to the Lola T92/10 as it was being warmed up was well worth the resulting tinnitus. biggrin

Went on the Saturday. Had a great day, weather was fantastic and was some good track action as well as great access in the paddock across the board.

Had seen some Group-C stuff heading up the hill at Goodwood, but seeing them on a proper circuit was fantastic. The Lola made quite the incredible noise and seeing the Silk Cut Jags running was awesome (had a toy one as a kid!)

Wish I could of seen then race proper as would of been quite the spectacle.

Will be keeping an eye out for future events! I see they are running at Spa later in the year, but looking at entry list was not too dissimilar from what we saw. Probably need to get to Le Mans classic to see the Mazdas/Sauber et al. running in anger I suppose?
