Vogue foot step / runner paint peeling...pictures attached

Potentially selling the car so need a cheap and quick fix if possible to refresh the look. Looks rather wrong atm.

Remove the steps ?

Gaffer tape or sharpie pen.

[Cold]

Scrape off the flaky bits and attack it with a can of satin black paint.
