Hi All, I have a 1972 Fiat 500 with Minilite style wheels and 145/70 R12 tyres. The problem is they rub on the back of the wheel well on full lock so they are too large diameter. Does anyone know if there is such a thing as a 135/70 R12, or a tyre with smaller overall diameter than the 145s? Ive searched Google, but nothing comes up. The car came with this set-up and it looks great, but the problem does need to be fixed...

Appreciate your help.

Mytyres list a 140/70 12, not much narrower, but a bit:

The other option is to fit spacers (not ideal, but better than rubbing).

This is the original dimension for your car : 125 R 12
Pirelli recreated this tyre for Fiat 500 owners. Here it is : https://www.longstonetyres.co.uk/125sr12-cinturato...
