Anyone gone GT4 to 992 GTS?

Funnily enough, few mates and I were discussing this recently sold 992 GTS from JZM.
Lightweight Pack - buckets and 7-speed manual (although the PDK would have made it devastating).
Really specced like you'd think a Carrera T might be, or as a GT3 Touring Lite..... was up for c150K.

Caveat: not driven a 992 GTS but have experience of several other 992 models plus GT4s and GT3s.
Pros of GT4:
Ultra sharp front end.
Lighter on its feet
sound, at least at higher revs
Pros of GTS:
Much quieter in the cabin
Composure-less deflected by road imperfections
Monster torque is much more useable at road spees

To me, add in a glass roof (I know, but I do like alfresco) and an aero kit (currently not available) plus shark blue and it would be a nice car I suspect?!

Thanks, I’d add in the Pros that the GT4 looks better (to me anyway!). Pros of GT4:

So the reason friends and i were discussing 911 GTS was because we had gone out on a drive... 981 CGTS (x73), 981 GT4 (MR KW) and 991.1 GTS (GTS Spec PASM, non-sports chassis)... was some good fun and one of the core observations was how much the Cayman moves around on the road vs the bigger 911 which seemed to just soak up whatever was happening, dig into the road surface with the big fat rear tyres and then just fire down the road... makes for very clinical and effective performance.Pros of GT4:

Not the same scenario, but I changed my order from 718 GTS 4.0, to 911 C2S.
Two reasons:
1. Travel comfort with the missis … bigger cabin and she likes to recline the seat when we travel considerable distance
2. I have to get (new) 911, before they go extinct… with current production schedules I might get just that last one
Otherwise, for me, the 718 GTS 4.0 was a perfect run-about.

That was a great drive… and Yes the 911 feels stable, planted and those massive rear tyres just hunker down. Unless you really push it you dont feel it moving about quite as much as the Cayman which has that mid engine pivot around you feel. The 911 is undoubtably quicker on a B road (if the width doesn’t stop you getting too carried away) but probably is less fun if you like feeling a car move about and managing the grip. The 911 feels like you absolutely need a track to push it near the limit, my old 981 GTS never felt like that.
I still think a 981 GTS/GT4 is the sweetspot if it’s not your only car and £ for £ you are getting some very nice components from much more expensive metal

Just my 2 pence. I went from a 991.2 S to a 981 GT4. You can fire the 911 out of corner like nothing else, however the GT4 you can go faster into the corner a bit quicker - the front hooks up much better - much better turn in. I find the GT4 way more fun - it does move about more but in a fun way. Edited by TDT on Tuesday 19th April 16:39
Very different cars really and personally don’t think they are comparable in terms of driving experience. The ride in the GT4 is much much firmer .
