No parking camera on 992

Hi all -

I have a new 992 on order (due end of 2023/early 2024) and am contemplating a used car until then.

I found a decent car at an OPC and with the right spec and good condition. However, it doesn’t have a reversing camera (standard sensors only).

Does anyone have experience of the 992 without the camera? I didn’t have one on my 718 which was fine (also had sensors only), though worried it could be more of an issue with the 992 or it’s resale.

Apart from that has BOSE, PSE, Chrono, sunroof and the GT steering wheel.

If its got everything else then the camera would not be a deal breaker for me. The beeps are perfectly acceptable and have been for years.

I had the camera on my 991.2 GTS and it was absolutely terrible quality, if it is the same as that I wouldn't worry about not having it.

Agreed, if anything like camera on 991.2 GTS definitely not a deal breaker, it’s ste. Not even the resolution, it’s just a weird angle and not that helpful, so wouldn’t really miss it if it stopped working
