My wheels aren't damaged (amazingly after 9 years), but the lacquer is lifting.

Not used them so can't offer anything about their work.
I am.however getting a wheel done, not kerbed just the same as yourself with lacquer lifting.
I took the car to few 'respected' wheel refurbishing companies and I wasn't happy to leave my car with any of them ! I just had visions of their lads bkasting up and down the road in their dirty overalls with my pride and joy.
I don't have any axle stands or anything but mentioned my dilemma to my detailer who jhas kindly organised to get the wheel done by one of their contacts buts crucially my car will stay at his workshop on a lift with just the wheel being sent off for refurbishment.
This made me much more relaxed and is worth a few extra quid to feel comfortable about who you leave your car with.

Finally got around to getting the wheels seen to by Hyper Coatings.
Very pleased with the results.
Called in on the way home on Wednesday (after giving them a call), they had a set of Mercedes wheels which they swapped for mine and received a phone call Friday afternoon to say they were ready.
Finish is excellent - a better coating than the original Merc finish I'd say, so much so I felt the need to wash the rest of the car this morning.
Very happy with the service, good to see a torque wrench being used (not always a given) and being advised to re-torque after 50 or so miles (again something I do, but not something often offered as advise).
Recommended.
ETA - I really need to sort out another set of centre caps!

sam.rog - these wheels were powder coated 12 months ago (although only about 8 months of use - I have winter wheels/tyres).
So from wheels where the lacquer was starting to look tatty but no corrosion/kerbing, I now have four wheels with corrosion - 'bubbles' under the powder coating and coating flaking (still no kerbing). Back to the original question - can anyone recommend somewhere to refurbish these wheels please?

They look diamond cut to me. The black part looks powder coated but the shiny alloy is diamond cut.
This final diamond cut finish to the wheel is whats causing the issue. If you powder coated the wheel and not perform the final diamond cut they would last a lot longer.

You're correct - they are diamond cut. I'm just disappointed that where the original Mercedes coating lasted 9 years this hasn't lasted 9 months.
I thought I was doing the right thing by getting the wheels addressed when the lacquer started to look less than perfect, before any corrosion could take effect. As it is I'd probably have been better keeping them as they were.
I'm thinking now that a solid coated wheel might be the way ahead if I can find a colour/shade that I like, but I do like the diamond cut/black wheel (at least when they're first done!). I've had a quick google but haven't seen many pictures of this style of wheel that isn't diamond cut.
