So, here we go again! :bounce:
The season is upon us with the majority of leagues kicking off this Saturday and the Premiership and Conference beginning a week after.
Who's your team and how will they fare? Will it be :D or :furious:
Who will be the BIG movers? Will it be Man United or Newcastle who'll capture Michael Owen? I'd have him at Man Utd with Rooney, for sure.
What are your tips for winning what. Will Chelsea win everything in sight :silly: or will they end cup-less and a victim of too many crooks spoil the broth? :scratchchin:

Eighteen months of solid football, christ that's frightening ... and so bloody boring!
The world cup will be the usual pre-tournament hype with England as usual not progressing beyond the last 16 or so ...
It's the cricket season mate, at least until Saturday ...

No but I stood on the terracing on its very last day at the old ground in the mid 90’s. If I remember correctly the home fans spilled onto the pitch at the end and started throwing grass at us!!!!!!!!

I'm with you on that, we'll have our usual playoff success by finishing 3rd (by a mile) and losing (like normal.)
I don't understand Camara, the whole reason he is in a sulk is he doesn't want to be outside the top flight, yet he would be happy to join Wigan who are almost certain to be relegated next season, whereas he could stay, take Championship defences apart and get us promoted. I think he would make the difference to us making the playoffs or getting promoted automatically so I'd rather he stayed, but he's being advised by an idiot so what can you do

Looking forward to a frustrating season as usual, and if they dont buck their ideas up we could easily be joining the relegation battle. After such a dire and dismal season it was hard to see how on earth we finished so high.
Some consolation that others apparently were worse.
I really dont mind losing, its just the way Charlton lost their matches last year. Absolutely pathetic.
Strangely they played some of their best and most entertaining football the year we were relegated.
Sigh, why do I keep getting a season ticket????

Come on the Mighty Toffees! (Would be over the moon with a spot in Champions league group stage, and chuffed with a Premiership top ten finish!). HOWEVER... we signed Gary Neville today... I really can't see if that is good or bad! Regular England international but, he is getting on a bit!
