New large TV needed - opinions sought!

So old 1080p plasma has finally died and we've had a radiator moved to allow big main lounge wall to get a wall mount.
Current main contenders
Sony xr83a90j 83" oled, 2021 model.
LG 77" G1 oled, 2021 model.
Outsider in the mix is new Sony A95 2022 model qdoled but it maxes out at 65" I believe which is probably mildly on the small side unless the difference is so night and day better that I should just get one and not look back.
I'm also somewhat tight and part of this may result in a kneejerk purchase if either of the 2021 models gets a big discount in Easter sales. Sony looks like 4.5k ATM while lg is 3.5k.
Any opinions on either screen from anyone that has one? Also any av engineers (armchair or otherwise!) have opinions on the new qdoleds? Any wildcards to throw into the mix? Any predictions of major discounts imminent from anyone in the retail channel? As old TV dead waiting months for larger qdoleds is a nonstarter.
