My XF sportbrake has the tyre slip issue, especially when cold on a wet day.
Its time for replacement front tyres and I am wondering if anyone has opted for an alternative besides the Pirelli ? (245/45/18Y)
Appreciate your comments
Thankyou

How about some all-season tyres, perhaps the Michelin Cross Climate 2 that seem to sacrifice less in the way of dry performance than the others?

Though I don't think it is recommended to mix summer and all-season tyres. So may be just a different summer tyre that scores well in wet handling and braking.

Michelin PS4
I changed from Pirelli P7s to Michelin PS4 on my Alfa. The improvement is huge, even allowing for the fact that the Pirelli were worn and the Michelins are new. Even when new the Pirellis were unpredictable in low temperatures and tended to "push" sideways in tight low speed turns.Gassing Station | Suspension, Brakes & Tyres | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
