Is there a sweet spot 996 c4s?

Whether it’s options
Less prone to xyz
And what is the potential xyz

Love the wide bodied versions, manual, coupe since I clocked eye on one when younger

I was gonna be funny and just say "yes, the 997"

I think any of the 996 c4s would be fine, personally I would get the c2s though as the 4wd isn’t needed for traction unless you plan to use it on snow etc? C2 is a more engaging drive. Agree on manual.

997.1 have their issues I’m aware

Just love the wide bodied look and the red lights piece across the back

Yes, I do agree.

My friend had one after he bought my 3.2 Carrera, I noticed it had yellow calipers, do they all have that? ; It normally means ceramics but doubt they have them or need them?

996 C4S isn't just for traction, although that is a big + of it.

The 996 C4S also runs the Turbo Brakes, Suspension, Bumpers and style wheels. In my opinion looks much better than the C2S and good ones now are selling for good money.

I was not much of a fan of the 996, but the C4S is starting to age well, outside.

My options would be:

Atlas Grey
Coupe
Sports Exhaust
Sunroof
Manual
Bose
Heated Seats
Sports Seats (Not ruffled leather)
Alloy Gear Knob & Handbrake

2002 to 2003 simply as they were on annual servicing, after that they went to every 2 years. Too long between oil changes in my opinion. 997's were all every 2 years so a good reason to give them a wide berth.

I see a few posts talking about C2S.
The 996 didn’t come in C2S.

(It did come in C2 with a Tiptronic S gearbox which has caused some confusion over the model designation)

I was once offered a Boxster S by a trader at a really low price…I was not amused to travel 40 miles to find a 2.5 tip S.

Online adverts have tricked me into excitement in the past only to then be disappointed - same with 996 C4S headlines without pics which often turned out to be a C4 Tip S after reading the actual description
