Love it. One of my favourite Alpinas. As I’m new to BMW/Alpina (currently looking for one), did the late 335i not get the N55 engine? Or were these never available on the E9x models? Yours will be the true twin turbo I presume, not the twin scroll of the N55?
Looks great anyway. Enjoy.

The only way this car could be any cooler would be for it to be in that fetching shade of green that Alpina like to use.

Thanks Percy, have done! I love a fast estate, more than a Maserati V8, it seems silly

I was doing my normal Saturday morning run and I’m pretty sure I spotted this in South London…near the Rye?

Splendid choice! Fast, practical, comfortable and refined in more than one sense - the connoisseur's choice!

I was looking for a practical, fast estate and was considering Alpina (for long distance trips with the family), and seem to have found myself with a Gransport Spyder instead (should do a Readers' Car thread on that one day).

Please keep up posted!

Thanks BM, yes, I’m reassured before it even gets there. I believe you have an E30 they fettled/built/rebuilt?

Well if you ever want a long distance swap for a week, let me know! I’ll be driving this to Brussels a few times I expect so you’re welcome to have a drive.

Yes! Are you nearby? I’m Nunhead, just off of Ivydale Road. It’s all great driving roads round here…
Ha! Yes, I’m in Forest Hill - also excellent driving roads there too.

BMR are excellent, worth the drive. They look after my E46 M3 - wouldn’t use anyone else.

Look forward to seeing this around…!

Pretty surprising they AUC'd a 120,000 miler. But good for you, and it looks in great shape, Relentless. Your love affair with ALPINA continues...

They wavered with “select” coverage and then reverted to what they’d originally said- AUC.
