Linen trousers.

I have bought, under the influance of a femail, a pair of dark grey linen trousers, and wonder what I shoul ware with them. T Shirt? Short sleve shirt, untucked?
And what about shoes.
(Trousers are White Stuff, incase it matters....)

Linen shirts are very comfy - I have several. Especially nice worn in hot & humid countries like Singapore.

However, linen trousers? Dunno there, I'm afraid. Not a clue and no experience.

Linen trousers, it really depends on the style, but I would say either a t-shirt or a with a linen shirt - not tucked in! Noting that they're from White Stuff, I would say have a look what else they have, they're usually good at selling co-ordinated things.

As for shoes, it depends on the climate you want to wear them in. If somewhere hot with a beach then I'd say that 'bloke sandals' (leather flip floppy things) should do the trick, if somewhere in the UK, then I'm not sure, sorry!

I just got some from French Connection online but they're called 'Sleuth Trousers'. They are to be worn with sandals (which come off when I drive) and a tasteful shirt.

Having had time to consider, they must be worn with bloke sandals or those backless shoes, nothing else will work.

Flannels in Birmingham will have the type of thing you need, or there is a surf shop (Fat Face maybe?) at Cribbs that should do something suitable.
