…long shot I know, but has anyone seen/know the red, 4000 mile, pdk ‘t’ currently for sale at OPC Glasgow?

Its price is dropping very gently. I’m surprised it hasn’t sold. I’d pop in to take a look but it’s a fair schlep from Lancashire.

Hey. I'm busy today and they are closed tomorrow, but I could nip in and have a look on Monday at it if you would like?

If it’s close, that’d be great. I’m just wondering if it’s as ‘honest’ as it should be before making enquiries.

It’s a one owner 4000 mile car with a 2 year warranty. There can’t be too much to worry about can there? It will also get its major 4 year service, due next month, so you have instantly saved £££.

Smoking pack and non-plastic sun visors are a sign that someone knew what they were doing when it was ordered! Shame about the privacy glass though. Glad it’s not yellow. wink

Yep…if it’s on your radar, the spec you want and within budget…do the deal..

I’ve bought a few cars from OPC’s remotely and never had a problem, either with the quality of the car or the service.

Their after-sales can sometimes raise an eyebrow, but to buy from they are one of the better ones, compared to some of the other top end marques.

Nice car, looks great in GR smokin

What suprises me most is that that (£83500) is the cheapest 911 they have for sale.

May be worth you speaking to Tom at Romans International.
He had a client that was considering selling his 3000 mile T in silver, in was mid £80's

That was the spec.

Looks good to me. BTW, it was important to me to have privacy glass: helps keep inquisitive eyes off the rear of the interiior where you might have stuff that there isn't room for in the front compartment.

Curiously, it's the only part of the cars' spec that puts me off! Lack of steering wheel controls doesn't bother me, I need PDK, I wouldn't spec a painted front spoiler thingy but can live with it. But drug-dealer windows don't really do it for me!

I had a look round the car, I would say it's exactly how a 4k mile car should look. In no way looks mistreated. If the spec is what you are after, then go for it.

Is mileage important? The black one at Chester is my old car. It has rear tints that were added by the previous owner and could be removed. The spec is really good, and I had full paint correction and front PPF when I collected it. Obviously I traded it in for the GT4, so it it’s no skin off my nose either way. But just thought I’d offer some info in case it was of interest.

Car looked well. I had a look at it last week when I was in chasing up my GTS and buying a Taycan.

Thanks everyone! No sooner had DMC2’s report landed and the car disappeared from the listings.

My wife was quite pleased…

Hey, just looking at one of these, and I wasn’t sure if privacy glass removes the sound deadening; there seems to be some differing views on this - does anyone know?

Thanks!

The original glass is from GT2RS. Adding privacy would increase sounding deadening?

Not sure it removes any sound insulation but privacy glass = no thinner glass (and thus a bit less sound). However, mine, with privacy glass, sounds great in terms of quality and volume. No rear window heating with thinner glass either.
