Apologies if there is already a dedicated thread running, but searched multiple times and couldn't find one - please let me know if there is one and I will ask the mods to merge.

Just a heads up, this finally starts airing in the UK from Tuesday 22 March 2022 @ 22:00 on Sky Showcase.

I've watched it and enjoyed it. It's a very different type of hero.

Watched the entire run when it came out in the US.

Loved it. Really wears its heart on its sleeve and quite a lot of the time is wildly inappropriate. Cena is great however British actor Freddie Stroma is a complete scene stealer though! Brilliant performance.

(Mind you Gunn has written every character in a really detailed and well rounded way. They all have time to shine over the 8 episodes. Roll on season 2.)

I really enjoyed it. It's rounded and pungent.

I think it's the first super hero ish TV show I've seen that didn't have me forgetting what I just saw a less than a second ago. All of the others I've tried seemed stunningly disposable compared to this.

What does it smell of?

The outtakes are quite good.

2 in - reminds me a bit of The Boys in its style.

John Cena nails the character. Good (adult) fun.

There’s a post credit scene after each episode.

It shows the power of one creator being given free reign. James Gunn seems a bit shocked at how much freedom he was given.

Almost all other superhero type TV has the feel of committee/ entertainment algorithm in comparison.

I am really enjoying the completely irreverent, crude humour and casual violence wink

one good thing about Cena is that he really doesn't seem to mind taking the piss out of himself/his character. Quite refreshing TBH

Oh and another 'shout out' for Eagly - great CGI and well trained for the bits that aren't

The title sequence is such a brilliant example of this.

I normally skip the title sequence, but I watch this one every time. It is hilarious.

This is refreshingly good, offensive yet clever television.

Am I the only person who couldn't understand a word Peacemaker says ? He speaks so fast even the subtitles can't keep up.
Gave up after 3 episodes

In that case the CGI is even better than you thought. Eagley is 100% CGI in every single episode.

When they needed a physical interaction they used a large bowling pin shaped cushion for cane to hold onto.
