Ski Walkers/Gentle Exercise Machines
Discussion
Hi Everyone,
My Mum has decided to do a bit more exercise to lose a bit of weight, and has seen these 'ski walker' things and seems to like the idea.
Whast I'd like to know is - are they any good, and can anyone recommend a make/model (not too expensive - ideally under £400 if feasible), or any other indoor exercise machine she can use when she can't get in her usual evening walks? It is critical that it's gentle exercise, as she has a bad back, and I don't want her hurting herself...
Cheers Dudes,
Fatboy

I saw a report on these walking style sticks on the TV a while back and apparently its the ultimate exersize and works out most of the muscles,i forget the country of origin where it seems like a normal everyday activity but couldnt help thinking it looked stupid.

We bought one off Ebay for ~£350.
It's hard work and takes up a lot of space, but passes the time when perving at the Hollyoaks girls.
At least you still use yours
,After the good lady pestered me for one it was used for 2 weeks and now makes for a handy piece of modern art in the corner of the front room
