A whole new community

Hi Folks,

I've had my Type 23 (pictures still to come) since last Friday now and because I've been preparing the garage etc for her, I haven't driven a whole lot of miles with yet.

BUT...

I have noticed when I'm out on the road how many like-minded cars wave and flash at me now. All of a sudden it's like people know you're there...lol.

So far three TVR's a Lotus Elan and an AC Cobra have all flashed and waved whilst going past...how cool is that! and... I swear to god every one on my street has been to visit the car...not me you understand, the car!!

I think I'm gonna like owning my Eise...lol.

yup, its nice to feel part of a community, people you dont even know waving and flashing is nice.
I find myself driving to the long way home just so you can pass the school and have kids all stop and point or mcd's car park with the sad nova crew who suddenly appreciate a real car, perhaps thats just me and im sad ! lol....

Yeah its one of the enjoyable bonuses of owning a Lotus. Wait til you drive past a group of attractive young girls and you get a wave or a cheer - I love it!!

I have tried waving at other owners of K-reg 1.4 VW polos but they have yet to latch on to the concept
