New coil springs

Got a pair of new springs for my car due to part of on breaking off the other week
What do people say to the finish of the coating on these

No problem at all, they are powder coated & they need to be "hung" from wire when they are being cooked, that is where it was hung from.

Just fit & forget.

If the damage is just to the coating & none to the metal of the spring either take them back & see if the suppliers have got some more or paint the area & fit.

I've just touched the bare area up with some paint
Just a poor quality finish in them especially for OE items to have bare metal showing on a item exposed to the element's

with marks on both sides, looks like someone has grabbed it with something ?

It's a part from a main dealer ?

Not from a main dealer but a supplier but came to them direct from fiats warehouse in Italy
Both are identical so presumably from manufacter
