Have I got Covid pricing brain fog or does this not seem too expensive considering the mileage, condition and the fact its a dealer?

https://www.4starclassics.com/for-sale/subaru-impr...

Does anyone know the car or can comment more generally?

I agree, doesn't look a bad price at all taking into account the utter insanity we've seen in the last 2 years.

It does look good value especially in the current climate. I'd take a punt on that if I was in the market for another Impreza. Bugeye's tend to be cheaper as some deem them as the unloved member of the family. Personally I like them and STI Bugs aren't a common sight these days.

Well guys your comments have made me even more tempted, I think the headlights would have to be changed to stock though.

I’ve been looking at the photos in detail and there does seem to be significant stone chips where the mud flaps are on the plastic bits.

They do have very thin paint so I wouldn't be too worried about stone chips, although there does seem to be a lot in that particular area, my 05 Impreza had a lot of road rash on the front end at only 45k miles but I don't recall it looking as bad around the arches as this one does.

I'd still very carefully inspect the inner rear arches and rear suspension towers, they rot from the inside out so can look fine on the outside but be thoroughly rotten inside, can even be easily missed by an MOT.

Yes I had a ‘02 bugeye WRX wagon until last year, it had done 90k and had a number on stone chips but nothing like this one.

Rust worries me but the mileage and general condition would hopefully mean it’s solid.

5 owners, 37k miles, Northern Ireland, no Reg to check history.

I'm oot.

I agree, just seems a bit too good/cheap to be true... especially when you look at all the other stock that dealer has, which are all much more in line with the insane prices of all other performance/modern classic cars.

Reg was probably VDZ 555.

That one stood out to me as well, just makes the Impreza look all the more suspiciously too cheap, definitely something not right with it.

The only pic of the car I can find, do you know anything about it?

Imprezas have absolutely skyrocketed. You'll struggle now to find a newage STI of any type for less than £12k. Bugeyes were changing hands for £6k not too many moons ago. It's crackers.

I tried to purchase this car from 4 star but I was too late. Seems some has brought it and put stock wheels and headlights back on and now trying to sell it for £25k
