992 DAB Logos

Hi all,

Does anyone know how to update the DAB Logo database on a 992? Local to me UK stations are not showing their icons but next doors fiesta does lol

I’d love to know if there is a way to do this too.

Many logos missing from the PCM in my GT4, but are present on my Dad’s Macan, my mates 3 series and even my wife’s Corsa courtesy car!

I’m a big fan of Radio X and it really bugs me that their logo doesn’t show on my PCM.

Wish we had a way to email porsche direct, Porsche uk tell us to contact delears, delears say they have no idea on the database. Someone at Porsche must know lol

Yeah tries before. Up to the newish PCM, logos where via radio reception etc. Then Porche decided to do database. But no one in the world knows how the database is updated, I think the find the holy grail first lol

This site (in German) suggests that you can save the logos to an SD card and load them in that way. I found a site which supplies the logos in the correct format - maybe try unzipping the file and putting the directory onto an SD card. My 981 receives DAB but can't show station graphics so I can't test it myself.

I don't know but if not, putting the directory onto a USB thumb drive and plugging into a USB connector should work just as well.

Hi All,

Didnt work, appears only VW can be updated this way. Why can Porsche not know how to update their own system lol
