Just had a Sub 3 delivered. Quite disappointed that whilst I get that it can’t be in two actual rooms at once, in my setup I have one “room” which is a Beam, and another “room” that is a stereo pair of Play1s, both in the same physical room. Play1s are NOT used as surrounds for the Beam.

Sub can be connected to either “room” but not both. I can obviously swap it between them as I don’t use the TV at the same time as listening to music, but seems a fairly odd omission.

Surely if you group them then the sub is active?

Yeah but I don’t want to group them. I want Beam + Sub OR Stereo pair + Sub - as opposed to Beam grouped with pair and sub.

Would it be easier to group them all, then mute the speakers you don't want to hear?

In the same physical room? Why not stick them all together? TV and music will both sound better.

They’re not aligned to work like that.
