Very surprised by this advert that states this car is 2007

I thought production ended in Aug 2006.

Not entirely impossible that it sat unregistered for 4 months and the 2007 refers to the registration date? I'm guessing it's on a 56 plate?

Running in service wasn't done until July 07 either.

Were Hexagon still a BMW franchise at that time? They are, in my experience, very straight shooters so if you wanted the full lowdown on the car give them a call smile

My car was registered in Sept 2006 on a 56 plate. I thought it was probably the last registered M3 in the U.K. Apparently I’m wrong !

Ran a couple of last run e46 M3s back in 2007 2008 one was Silver Grey SMG Cab BK56 WDD the other was on 07 plate yes there are a very small number around.

Also ran a (July?? 06) Cobalt Black SMG cab GU06 ### and sold that for £39950 in the summer of 2007 with 2k miles so great comparison with the manual car the OPs is looking at.

Production of the E46 M3 Cabriolet continued for another year, after the end of coupe production in 2006.
So 2007 is definitely possible, and not necessarily even very unusual.
