I would like to programme the m5 so that the door mirrors fold in on locking the car.
I am looking to buy a bimmercde diagnostic tool.

Can you confirm that this is the correct one, please? (I KNOW it says BMW in the description)

Be careful, many OBDII port devices literally can lift error codes from the ECU's - they have no capability to make ECU changes.

Look at a Carly - works well with BMW's, device is usually on special offer somewhere with the right discount code, then you pay for a subscription for advanced features. That will allow you to program BMW ECU's - (there are 18 in my car) with settings such as the folding mirrors.
