So where to begin!
I've wanted one of these since they first came out but was way out of reach. started a new job 18 months ago with a significant pay rise and promised myself id have one if everything worked out.
after a brief fling with my Yaris GRMN which was a amazing car in its own right id finally decided it was now or never.
anyone who's either looked at or bought one will know as a rule used ones have several previous owners at 3/4 years old, missed services, budget tyres, bad modifications, accident damage etc.....
probably taken me best part of 9 months to find the one that was right, I've had to compromise on the pan roof as i test drove two of them and both were creaking which put me off
so here's what I've bought!

new set of Michelin pilot sport 4s on
amg aero kit
upgraded head unit with satnav, android auto, apple car play
amg performance seats and steering wheel
amg night package
amg dynamic plus package
still working out what's been specced ill do one of those vin decoders when i get a bit of time
main plans are first to get some decent additional security on it and just enjoy it. worked hard over last few years bettering myself to put myself in a position where i can afford the things i really want. this really is my attainable dream car and I'm still in dream land every time i look out of the window. im not really one to take lots of pics whilst out and about but no doubt ill snap a few with this
i want to keep up the maintenance as well as the previous owner has done and will no doubt add my own little touches to it as times goes by

I remember thinking I wouldn't like these before they came out but then I saw a few and it changed my mind over time!
I was riding my bike one day and was behind one in some traffic and the sound it made when moving forward was just so brutal I had to respect it. There was no finesse or any attempt to try and sound refined or fancy just an angry, loud reminder of how much power was available.
There's also a lady at work who has had 2 of these, an original when they came out and an S (I think that's what they're called) when they were released, shes pushing 60 and doesn't do a lot of miles but it's very cool to see her cutting about in one of the carparks fastest motors!

Does this car have the engine that is going into the Lotus Emira? If it is, would love to hear about how it drives, sound, power delivery, reliability etc

Haldex 4wd system
Power is roughly 380hp
Unsure of torque
0-60 is apparently 4.2s
Realistically car spends most of its time in comfort mode doing the school run, food shop etc ...
At the twist of a dial it goes from a sedate daily driver to a snarling, crackling race car
