Max, the fake champion... he might not 'really' be WDC, but he's made a two VOL F1 thread possible... or maybe Masi gifted that too!?!?!?

I've just been going over Vol 1 from page 114 or so, where they are about to restart after the safety car. It's interesting and stressful reading.

Most posters are rightly disgusted by what they are seeing, but it's notable how the Max fans seem to be just fine with it. To have watched that take place and not be horrified, whether you are a fan of any particular driver or not, is just inconceivable to me.

I suppose it's a bit like celebrating the Australia one-day cricket 'victory' in 1981 when the last ball of the match was bowled underarm to prevent the Kiwis from being able to win. There were people celebrating that, but they're not the sort of people I'd like to have a beer with. It suggests very low personal standards.

Don't want to be that guy...but... Vol 1 has 501 pages.

Clearly another Masi/Redbull/FIA fix.

At least the commentator had the balls to say it like it is at the time unlike Brundle and Co with their mealy mouthed responses and defence of massi and co

That’s ok. FIA say that being in front when you should be behind is ok

I lost an enormous amount of respect for Brundle and Hill.

How can these people hold their heads up after the way they denied the issue at the time?

It's all about the money. Complete lack of integrity.

I always rated Brundle as a commentator, but I think he let the sport and himself down.

In fairness to Max, do you think Lewis could have achieved a volume 2, if the positions were switched?
