991 clubsport question

I have a 991.1 GT3 RS incoming it has clubsport but no fire extinguisher. Was this an additional option or should it have one ?

All clubsports should come with an extinguisher... But they can be removed so perhaps this is what's happened with yours.

As I remember it, you had to cut the floor mat to get them to fit properly without the mat sticking up at the edge, so they were often just left in the frunk. Then in the garage. It’s probably still there!

They are about £650 from the OPC! 5 min to fit if you have the cutouts in the carpet already. You will need to cut a small section from the mat as mentioned.

You could save £550 + the hassle of installing it and have this in the glove box....as featured on Jay Leno’s Garage

Clever design that enables you to move the passenger seat forward allowing for the extinguisher being there.

Wonder what the cost was to do this bit of design / engineering !

I invested in some fire sticks last year...have them in my classic and also have a couple at home.
