I'm selling the Mighty But stey focus, and have a price of €2600 on Leboncoin.
I've had two chancers offering me 1500€ to buy it en l'état.

Is this just coincidence, a scam or is there some magic about a car for 1500€ that I don't know about?

Some of the reviews on Trustpilot are not encouraging.

A few years ago I was looking for an E type and found one in Paris .When I tried to arrange a viewing It suddenly moved to Motherwell.

On another occasion I was looking for a JCB and found one in Clermont Ferrand and the vendor said he would bring it to me so that I could have a look a trip of 250 Kms needless to say I didn`t follow up on that one.

Prices of s/h cars on Le Bon Coin are extremely optimistic. Cars that didn't originate in France are considered suspect too (just sayin), as would be your English accent (presumably) when you answer the phone to a potential buyer. My neighbour here was suspicious of any seller he phoned who didn't have a Breton accent!
There's also the potential hassle of someone claiming for repairs a few months later despite "en état" - it happens.. If you can handle the aggro, fine.
I sold my last car in 2020 - Passat 2006 2.0 tdi break with no CT, 375K, and needing all new front suspension joints, otherwise v.good, to Vendez Votre Voiture for 1600€ .
Good luck anyway, hope you get it!

Sold our 206CC on LBC, two guys arrived, poked about, offered 50€ below the price and chucked it on their trailer. Seamless. Same as Ebay, Gumtree et al, the internet is full of tossers but also used by normal people.

Sod it. I’ve chucked it at Vendez Votre Voiture.
It’s worth the massive loss to have rid of the heap and not have to waste any more time on fkwits.

I went for the detailed quote sending pics with kms, no warning lights showing etc, and after driving it they stuck to their price. I got the impression that they have buyers online looking at the car while the guy examines it and it's probably sold there and then to E Europe/Africa or somewhere with low labour rates and strong demand for cars that can be repaired and sold at around 5000€.
I'd obtained a quote from them a few years previously; it was 100€ more than a Toyota garage had offered me in p/e against a 23000€ demonstrator.

I sold a v clean Punto cheap with a declared problem (no, really?) , on LBC to a retired mechanic who also came with a trailer. He virtually bit my hand off.

I couldn't see it cluttering up the carpark!
Has it sold? Or did you just scrap it?

You were a bit ambitious originally then.

I was thinking about bidding you a grand for it. Oh well, never mind.
