Personally, unless there was good reason not to, I'd go for the newer, cheaper one. Neither is particularly 'pristine' at those mileages, but the five or six years newer model is probably further from terminal corrosion.

This is peak Mercedes 'built by accountants' era, IIRC. I wouldn't touch either.

And why do both cars say one owner and three owners?

On something like that, very much down to condition and paperwork when viewing to be honest.

One lady owner on the cheaper one and still decent mileage are plus points, the other obviously feels that theirs is significantly better.

You might find the top one is rotten and the bottom one garaged and immaculate.

If you're budget is what the lower one is, I don't think anyone would be considering paying 3 times as much to get the other.

I sold my New Beetle cab for twice what others the same age were going for. It had only done 20k miles in the 13 years I had owned it from new and had won a few concours awards. If you find someone willing to pay top money for a good example, you will get it. I was lucky, as my car was fairly well known, so got a buyer quite quickly.

I would never buy a car with the tax disc still in the window... if they CBA to remove a tax disc then what else would they fail to do because they CBA?
