Fitting the front Poly bushes to my car (2015 Fiesta ST) or rather getting another set of arms ready. haven't tried fitting the big ones at the rear of the front arm and not sure if anyone has any tips for the caster adjustment ?

Main issue is I cant get the smaller bushes to fit, they go in the arm fine but when I try fitting the dowel it just squeezes the poly bit out on the other side so I cant get the two pieces flush.

Have I got the wrong arms ? just got some off eBay off someone who didnt need them, new but werent specifically ST ones but was told the arms are the same but the bushes are different but didnt matter as was replacing them.

Was just planning on getting the arms ready and can just then swap them and not have these issues whist the car is on axle stands.

Match the part number with the one on the manufacturers website.

You need to use the little sachet of copper grease on them and they will slide in fine.

Yeah, have tried several times with lashing of the grease. They slide in but it squeezes back out.

Are they powerflex ones? Any pictures of them in-situ?

I've had issues with bad polybushes in the past, but nothing like this.

Had this problem - use a big g clamp and a couple of flat bits of wood or steel sheet

Tried that, it just squeezes out whatever I do, its like the metal bit is marginally too big.

they should have a rim/lip at each end that once pushed through, over lap the edge of the bush housing on the arms. This should stop them from sliding back out, so either you've not pushed them in far enough, or you've been given the wrong bushes/or putting the right bushes in the wrong holes.
