What a film!!

I missed this at the cinema last year but heard it was very good. It's a different version of John Wick, and done brilliantly. Really hoping there's a follow up. I've read of a possible loose collaboration with the John Wick franchise, hope this happens. I love Bob Odenkirk but I would ever have seen him as fitting into this kind of role, but he just does.

This could be one of those rare films that once watched, I then purchase so I own it.

Yes, it's good, with a dash of humour as well.

Kind of snuck under the radar a little.

I really enjoyed it but within the parameters it sets for itself. It was just an MTV Violence video with caricature bad guys and the same mild mannered sap turned hero rhat has appeared in every film since forever...that said, I thought it was great. The violence was real, the good guy got beat up, he wasn't untouchable or indestructible and it had sone great moments. More than the sum of its reused parts, will watch it again.

Quite, it did exactly what it said it would on the tin, and did it well, without being po-faced, overblown, CG-reliant or overlong........................Bay and MCU, I'm looking at you here!

The ending where the two are driving off in the van suggests perhaps a sequel.

An hour and a half of grinning like a loon, its not high art but bloody hell I enjoyed that more than any film for quite a while, as did my wife.

I enjoyed it but not sure it is quite worth the praise it is getting on here. Very formulaic and full of cliches. I think the issue is that the majority of films today are so bad it looks like a masterpiece by comparison.

To to resurrect this old tread, but this just appeared on Netflix and it's a fantastic film.

Especially with Christopher Llyodd.

Be nice to see a crossover, but I don't think it's likely. Both characters created by the same chap, but he was kicked off JW4 for some reason.

I've seen this a couple of times and enjoyed it, looking forward to the sequel even if it probably has some of the expected bits.
