Madrid what's it like ?

hello PH crew

I have to move to Madrid soon and was wondering what we all thought about the place ?

I've been a dozen or so times for work. Seems like every other old European city, has good and bad and everything in between. Tapas is wonderful, people by and large friendly. Local drivers are nutters, Spanish toll booths are a particular source of entertainment, no one seems to slow down as they approach them

There has to be very many worse places to live.
