15-20 years ago it was just like that at Hedge End suspect its just the same but moved location a few times over the years.

Drove back last night from Southampton and came across a huge convoy of modified cars. Tbh whilst wife didn’t like it there was a part of me that loved the noise and smell.

I wasn’t a complete angel when I was 18 but some of the older guys in M5’s were driving like tts.

Anyway came back onto the motorway, passing Rownhams Service station as (maybe a break off of the meet) some hot hatches went past us and were weaving across the road as we went to a single lane and into the 50mph ANPR.

As we got further into the road works we came to a complete stop 5 mins later we slowly drove past 3 squashed cars and a poor lad crying into his girlfriends shoulder.

Tbh I can’t say I’m surprised.

I'm old these days, I forget easily. I miss those days. I'd be sorely tempted to swing in if I ever pass one of these meets!
