992 Aero Rad Protection

Hi l,

Looking at the front vents on the Aero bumper, one slat, the rads look very exposed. I have seen the grilles that fit in the bumper but they don't look good. Anyone done anything different?

You can certainly collect some crap in the front bumper recesses. So far I’ve found a cassette, a spark plug and a dead blackbird in mine (991 GTS). There was an aftermarket grille you could get for the 991 - not sure about the 992. After 4 years and 25k in mine I’ve had very little actual damage to the radiator panels.

Hi,

I had seen them, there ones that are on the outer side and look a bit pants lol, looking for something that can be put closer to the rads.

I also have a 991.2GTS, I was l little concerned and had considered the Zunsport grills, although not too keen on the look so I left it. Almost 30k miles in mine now and whilst it does collect leaves and small stones at the base of the rads there is no actual damage.
